Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms By accessing, browsing, registering for, purchasing from, or otherwise using PalmMatrix (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, as amended from time to time. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

2. Operator and Scope PalmMatrix is a digital platform that provides AI-assisted palm image analysis and related educational and informational content. The Platform may include user accounts, image upload functions, report generation functions, administrative controls, multilingual content, blog content, and related purchase or subscription features.

3. Nature of the Service PalmMatrix provides structured analysis based on visual patterns, rule-based interpretation, and related methodology derived from Chinese and Western palmistry concepts. All reports, scores, summaries, blog posts, examples, explanations, and other outputs are provided solely for informational, educational, personal-reflection, and entertainment-related purposes. The Platform does not provide medical, psychiatric, psychological, therapeutic, legal, tax, immigration, employment, accounting, investment, insurance, spiritual, or other regulated professional advice.

4. No Prediction; No Guaranteed Outcomes PalmMatrix does not predict future events, guarantee outcomes, change destiny, or provide deterministic statements about health, finances, relationships, legal matters, or life trajectory. Any references to tendencies, patterns, styles, strengths, imbalances, or development areas are descriptive only and must not be treated as factual guarantees or as a substitute for independent judgment and, where appropriate, qualified professional advice.

5. Eligibility You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

6. Account Registration and Security If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep that information updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify PalmMatrix promptly of any unauthorized access, suspected breach, or misuse of your account.

7. User Content and Uploads You may upload palm images and related information solely for lawful purposes and only if you have the right to do so. You must not upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, fraudulent, harmful, obscene, malicious, or that violates any third-party rights. You remain responsible for the content you submit. By submitting content for analysis, you grant PalmMatrix a limited, non-exclusive right to process that content for the purpose of operating, securing, improving, and supporting the Platform, subject to the Privacy Policy and the Biometric / Image Consent.

8. Prohibited Conduct You agree not to: (a) misuse the Platform; (b) interfere with its operation or security; (c) attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, copy, frame, mirror, republish, or exploit the Platform or its outputs except as expressly permitted; (d) upload malware or other harmful code; (e) impersonate another person; (f) use the Platform to violate any law; or (g) use automated means to access the Platform in a manner that imposes unreasonable load or bypasses safeguards.

9. Fees, Billing, and Refunds Certain features may require payment. You agree to pay all disclosed charges, taxes, and applicable fees. Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated in writing by PalmMatrix, payments become final once processing has begun or access to the purchased service has been provided. Chargebacks or payment reversals made in bad faith may result in suspension or termination of access.

10. Intellectual Property All content and materials on the Platform, including software, structure, layout, databases, rule logic, report formats, copy, branding, graphics, and methodology presentation, are owned by PalmMatrix or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No right, title, or interest is transferred to you except for the limited, revocable right to access the Platform in accordance with these Terms.

11. Third-Party Services The Platform may rely on or integrate third-party services, including payment processors, cloud infrastructure providers, analytics tools, authentication systems, and content delivery services. PalmMatrix is not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, availability, content, or policies of such third parties, and your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and policies.

12. Service Availability and Changes PalmMatrix may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time, with or without notice, to the extent permitted by law. PalmMatrix does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or permanent retention of any particular feature or content.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties, representations, or conditions of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or collateral, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, or availability.

14. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, PalmMatrix, its owners, operators, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or other losses or damages arising out of or relating to your access to, use of, inability to use, or reliance upon the Platform or any content or output generated through it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it shall be limited to the amount paid by you to PalmMatrix for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the three (3) months preceding the event, if any.

15. Indemnity You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PalmMatrix and its related parties from and against any claims, demands, proceedings, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Platform, your uploaded content, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

16. Suspension and Termination PalmMatrix may suspend, limit, or terminate your access, with or without notice, if it reasonably believes that you have violated these Terms, created risk for the Platform or other users, failed to pay required fees, or engaged in unlawful or abusive conduct. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including provisions regarding payment, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and governing law.

17. Governing Law and Forum These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules, you agree that disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in the judicial district of Montreal, Quebec.

18. Severability and Entire Agreement If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force to the maximum extent permitted by law. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Biometric / Image Consent, Legal Disclaimer, and any applicable checkout terms presented to you, constitute the entire agreement between you and PalmMatrix regarding the Platform.

19. Changes to Terms PalmMatrix may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on the Platform will govern from its effective date. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
